How we make it

We have screened, sourced, trained ,and enable ladies from various background in a passion for doing seemstress work. All of these ladies and their families have been impacted by the limitations that has been placed on the economy. Each garment is quality checked by Anretia and Stephanie before you get to wear it. Anretia and Stephanie also spent endless hours making the products themselves enabling them to do continious improvement techniques. The red dot in the brand-name epitimise the passion of these ladies and their total commitment to their handiwork. HANDS….™ is also scaleable and has expanded as the business has grown.

HANDS….™ is a family business started as a mother-daughter team making bags, computer bags and moon bags. Stephanie is a first year student at Stellenbosch and mom, Anretia is founder and owner of a business specialising in loyalty and rewards programmes for more than 18 years. In fact, as old as Stephanie is. Stefmo Management Services, dad’s business, has been appointed as agent to promote, sell and distribute the products produced by HANDS….™.

HANDS….™ symbolises our way of living. The word “hands”, symbolise how we help the people around
us, through giving a helping hand. It highlights how we get our hands durty and to create solutions. The
three dots at the end of the brandname, represent how there is more to come in the future as well as
how the future holds a lot of unknowns, that we need to be able to adapt to. Furthermore, the Colour sceam, symbolises our views. The red colour, highlisghts ours passion. The black and white, reminds us that the world that we live in, is not just black and white, and lastly the gray represents that there is always a gray area. This
